The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have officially released the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN 05/2026) inviting applications for various Paramedical posts. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 118 vacancies are earmarked specifically for Pharmacist (Entry Grade) across various Railway Zones and Production Units. Eligible pharmacy graduates can submit their applications online starting from 15th September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a Central or State Government-recognized University or Institute and registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
OR - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a Central or State Government-recognized University or Institute and registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Note: Candidates awaiting final exam results on or before 14.10.2026 are not eligible.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2027)
- Age Bracket: 20 to 35 Years
- Upper Age Relaxations: OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years; SC/ST – 5 Years; PwBD – 10 to 15 Years; Ex-Servicemen as per applicable rules.
3. Medical Fitness Standard
- Standard: C-2 (Physically fit in all respects)
- Vision: Distance Vision: 6/12 nil with or without glasses; Near Vision: Sn. 0.6 combined with or without glasses where close work is needed.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus Breakdown
The examination will consist of a Single Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasting 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible scribe users) containing 100 multiple choice questions. There is a negative marking penalty of 1/3rd mark for every incorrect answer.

How to Fill the Online Form
- Visit the official RRB application web portal at rrbapply.gov.in.
- Register under the Create an Account section and complete the verification process.
- Log in with your credentials and select the application link for CEN 05/2026 Paramedical Categories.
- Choose your preferred RRB and prioritize your Railway Zone and post options.
- Capture your Live Photograph using a webcam or mobile front camera (wear non-white clothing).
- Upload your scanned Signature (running handwriting, black ink, 30 to 49 KB, JPG/JPEG format).
- Submit category and fee exemption certificates if applicable.
- Pay the examination fee via online modes and print the confirmation page.
